The Throne

This throne illuminates glory
Shining illustrious like gold.
A truly amazing place to be--
A place the Most High is seated.
He sits in divine brilliance
Intimidated by its vastness.
Dare I approach this object of beauty--
A place of mercy and grace?

An image appears near the throne.
Who's that I see sitting to the right
Dressed like a priest--but different?
More impressive, more divine;
Clothed in perfect brilliant white.
A glow is all around the image.
This figure appears to be a man--
Then the man speaks...

“Please, do not fear my brother.
Come, approach the throne.
I have paid your debt;
You owe nothing. It's a gift.
Place your trust in Me,
I will never leave or forsake you.
Find the mercy and grace you need,
With confidence...come near.”

Standing in awe, I see Him--
The image is clearing in view.
It is...it is the Son of God
Calling me to His father's throne.
Dare I go, am I good enough?
I should not fear, He said.
Trust in Him, is all that's asked.
Ok, in faith with confidence I go.
