How to Setup an Email Account on Outlook Express

Before you begin to setup an email pop account, make sure you have following
information:
- email address
- username and password
- POP3 server name or IP address
- SMTP server name or IP address
Lets start....
- Open Outlook Express and select the "Tools" menu then "Accounts".
- Click the "Add" button and select "Mail".
- Under "Display Name" type the name you want to use for this email account.
- Click the "Next" button.
- Select "use an already existing email address".
- In "Email Address" type in your email address
example - hello@mydomain.com. (it can be <anyting>@mydomain.com)
- Click the "Next" button.
Setting up the Mail Server Information:
- In "My Incoming Mail Server", select "POP3"
(This should be the default).
- Type yourdomain.com in the Incoming Mail POP Server.
(normally something like 'mail.mydomain.com')
- Type yourdomain.com in the Outgoing Mail SMTP Server.
(normally something like 'mail.mydomain.com')
- Click the "Next" button.
- User name - type in your user name.
(using the hello@mydomain.com email address as an example, the username could be either "hello" or "hello@mydomain.com")
- Password - type in your password.
- Click the "Next" button.
- Click "finished"
All done!
Simply repeat the steps above to set up additional accounts.
