Statement of Faith
1. There is one God and I'm not him. He created heaven and earth and exists in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit also known as the Trinity.
2. The Bible is the utlimate truth, inspired by God and is the authority of my faith.
3. The Lord Jesus Christ was, is and always will be the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, performed miracles, lived a sinless life, and offered himself as a sacrifice upon the cross. He did this to make an eternal, absolute and total payment for the past, present and future sins of mankind. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and now is at the right hand of God where he interceeds on our behalf to the Father. One day, He WILL return in power and glory to judge the world.
4. The Holy Spirit is present in the world to bring people to the awareness of their need for Jesus. He also lives in every believer in Jesus Christ. He gives power for witnessing and understanding of spiritual truth, enabling the believer to live a godly life. He is the giver of spiritual gifts, and believers are to be under His daily control.
